Brrrrrrrrrrrr! Jammers, come warm up at “The Eagle Flies On Friday” open jam at Sam’s Town Point on Friday, Jan 8, ‘10. 8:35-11:57(Closing). Open Jam—open genre(except rap/metal/grunge). Usually a lot of classic rock and blues are played but you never know who will show up and play what! It’s a Jam so it’s a song consensus among the players on stage at the time. It’s a Jam, not a band showcase. Do not hop up on stage without my approval. Thanks.
PLEASE READ: SIGN UP SHEET NEAR THE DOOR. First signed up, first served. Find me, Breck, or a house band member, when you come in. If you show up past 10:30 you may or may not play depending on how many have signed up ahead of you. Bring what you need to play. Leave your amp in the vehicle if you want but be prepared to bring it in if needed. Amps may be shared by the graciousness of others but guitars are as personal as a toothbrush.
New: Cool Blues! MJ TORRANCE and JOSE RUIZ will now play each Friday from 7-8pm. MJ plays electric piano and sings. Jose plays harmonica. Kinda lounge-jazz with a harmonica twist. MJ may speed it up and throw in some of her originals as well. Google MJ Torrance. They usually play from 7-8 on Wednesdays as well.
