Thursday, February 25th, 2010It’s a closed jam this Friday only but come on out and I’m sure you will enjoy it. Friday, Feb 26 will be a Hawaiian Luau theme benefit for one of Mary’s daughters. She is going on a church mission to benefit some of the lower economic areas of Maui. Pulled pork/bean plates and other culinary delights will be sold. $1 raffle tickets for nice and wacky things will be sold. Come out and get lei’d. Wear your grass skirt or other Hawaiian theme outfit. Music will be a coalition of great players from around Austin. A horn section & harmonica players will be an awesome addition. One band is called Kindred’s Kombo. Mike Kindred on piano and organ, Dale Clowers on guitar, Kenny Coffman on bass, and Dick Ross on drums. This is going to be killer! Check this out!!! http://www.loudhousemusic.com/mikekindredhandstand.htm
They will be playing in-between two sets that Nykky Dante & other great players have put together. It’s going to be a real fun night!!!! Come early, hang late.
